Sigma Orionis announced today a new organisation structure and changes in several leadership roles. The changes follow an on-going review of the company project portfolio and performance management.
‘Those changes are part of a continued programme to drive improved execution of the company’s strategy and to raise its operating and financial performance’ says Roger Torrenti, CEO.
Under the new organisation structure, Sigma Orionis’ projects will be combined into project units to (i) strengthen Sigma Orionis’ positioning from the outside, (ii) better develop expertise, and (iii) better align the project portfolio with the overall strategy of the company.
As a result, five Project Units have been formed which directly report to the Board of Directors.
Commenting on the changes, Karine Valin, Senior Project Director, adds ‘Those changes will allow a greater focus on project management and performance at individual unit level and a better positioning’.
Following this organisation review, a number of Unit Managers have been nominated:
“We welcome Holy Andrianantenaina, Marta Arniani, Anthony Dupont, and Hugo Vivier as Unit Managers. They have made a significant contribution since joining the company. We would like to wish them all every success for the future and to acknowledge their efforts over the past few years” ends Camille Torrenti, Project Director.
