The RESILIENT project aims to design, develop, and install a new integrated concept of interconnectivity between buildings, DER (Distributed Energy Resources), grids and other networks at a district level. It also aims to assess the resulting energy and environmental benefits.The RESILIENT approach combines different innovative technologies (including smart ICT components, optimized energy generation and storage technologies) to (i) provide real time accounts of energy demand and supply at a district level, and (ii) assist in the decision-making process.

Sigma Orionis leads the Dissemination activities and contributes to Exploitation through watch activities (technologies, regulatory framework and markets).
